Am I buying stock?
No. Community ownership represents membership in the cooperative and is governed by our bylaws and applicable law.
Can anyone become an owner?
Anyone who agrees to the membership requirements and purchases the required ownership shares may purchase a membership share.
Will I receive dividends?
The Board of Directors may authorize patronage distributions when profits and reserves allow. Distributions are not guaranteed.
Can ownership be transferred?
Ownership rights, transfers, and redemption are governed by the co-op's bylaws and membership policies.
Can I pay for ownership in installments?
Yes. We understand that becoming an owner is a meaningful commitment, and we want ownership to be as accessible as possible.
